Jim

This is an oil painting of a film still I found really powerful from 28 Days Later by Director Danny Boyle. It is a scene where Jim, the main character, is held prisoner by a group of soldiers he thought he would be able to find safe refuge with. Unfortunately, the humans he finds are no better than the monsters he has been running from up until that point, as the fear and bewilderment is reflected in his eyes.

Self Portraits Through the Years

I have always been interested in portraiture and using one's self for a subject is highly practical, challenging and rewarding. These are some work from a while ago. I am still trying to decide on where to go next with a new self portrait.

Apologies for the glare. Graphite on Stonehenge. 2007.
